ABOUT ME

Hello! I’m Katie Campbell. Little about me, I grew up on a farm in south central Minnesota and haven’t ventured very far from the area. I enjoy small town life and community yet welcome diversity and learning from different cultures and experiences. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children, family and friends, and being in nature, whether that be camping, spending time at the lake, riding bike, watching/playing sports, hiking, or traveling.

EDUCATION

I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2009 with a major in corrections and a minor in social welfare.
I completed my Master of Social Work degree in social work at Boise State University in 2022.

WORK EXPERIENCE

I have experience in working in a number of different settings, with clients of all ages and many different cultural backgrounds. I worked in the corrections field for approximately 12 years where I worked with adolescents and adults. I have also worked, volunteered, and/or interned with various organizations including crime victim services, chemical dependency services, and adoption.

THERAPEUTIC PHILOSOPHY

I strive to be a positive and empowering support in my client’s life, while working alongside them in meeting their goals and overcoming life’s difficulties. I use evidenced-based treatment models and a strengths-based approach to help clients meet their individual goals and improve their quality of life and connections with others.
