Susan Lounsbery, B.A., Intern

ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Susan Lounsbery, and I am excited to introduce myself as an intern at Eunoia Family Resource Center. I am thrilled to be starting my career as a clinician, and my journey towards this profession began when I earned my B.A. in Sociology. During my studies, I developed a passion for understanding people’s behaviors and social interactions. I’ve had the opportunity to work in various care settings, such as an assisted living care center, where I provided support to the elderly, and in a Behavioral Health Unit, where I provided support to individuals struggling with mental health issues. These experiences have taught me the importance of providing compassionate and empathetic support to those in need.

As a clinician, my goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to express their thoughts and emotions freely. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and understood and I am dedicated to helping my clients find the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals and improve their lives. I strive to provide quality care to individuals in need of mental health services and I am happy to be able to utilize my passion for helping others along with my previous experience in the healthcare field to make a positive impact on the lives of my clients.

On a personal note, I am a proud cat parent of three adorable feline companions who keep me company and bring joy to my life. I believe that our pets can teach us important lessons about empathy, responsibility, and the value of companionship. I come from the state of South Dakota, and I bring with me a unique perspective and a willingness to learn and grow.

I am excited to be a part of the team here at Eunoia.
