Ally Endersbe, B.A., Intern
I have lived in Mankato most of my life and enjoy living close to my family. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures and was fortunate enough to study abroad twice while working on my undergraduate degrees at St. Cloud State University. My hobbies include hiking, camping, listening to and performing music, and spending time outside with my dog, Mowgli.
I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2016 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in music and psychology. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work program through Minnesota State University-Mankato. I anticipate graduating in the summer of 2022. After graduation, I will pursue my licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, mindfulness and work with adolescents, couples and families.
I worked for 3 and a half years as a youth counselor at a residential treatment center for adolescent boys struggling with behavioral issues. This work included direct support and supervision, as well as facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes on healthy living habits and social skills. I enjoyed working with adolescents of varying needs and backgrounds to help them stabilize behaviors and reach their personal goals.
